This podcast is not about headlines. It is about people. It creates space for reflection, understanding, and connection — reminding us that strength is often found in vulnerability and that shared stories build lasting hope.
The Voice Behind the Mic
CAPTAIN Steve Mills, United States Navy, Retired, brings more than three decades of military service — and a lifetime of resilience — to this podcast.
After serving in the United States Air Force as a Firefighter, and later commissioning as a Navy Chaplain, Steve deployed to South Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bahrain, and the Arabian Gulf, walking alongside service members through some of their darkest moments.
Through his own experiences with combat stress and anxiety, Steve understands firsthand the weight many veterans carry long after returning home. His doctoral research on Psalm 23 shaped the heart behind this show: even in the valley of deepest darkness, we are not meant to walk alone.
